Journal membership refund & cancellation policy

Pluto Journals membership, support and donation cancellation and refund policy


Monthly membership or Monthly support may be cancelled at any time and your cancellation will be effective before your next billing date.

Cancelling a Donation, Yearly membership or Yearly support must be done within 14 days of purchase to obtain a full refund.

To cancel your membership, log into My-Account to access your active Membership / Support / Donation within “My Subscriptions” page, then select “Cancel“.


We are unable to refund payment unless the circumstances described below apply:

  • we are unable to fulfil your subscription. In this case, you may obtain a proportionate refund for the unexpired part of your current subscription or;
  • there are exceptional circumstances, which we will assess on a case-by-case basis. If we then decide that exceptional circumstances apply, we may, at our reasonable discretion, give you a proportionate refund;

All refunds will be made to the account or debit or credit card used for the initial membership or donation without incurring any fees.
